A Recent Interview with What’s Fab Magazine
“The driving force behind my clinic and me is my Father, who passed away from a heart attack in 2004. I knew something was wrong and I would push my Father to pay attention, but it was too late and he chose to not listen to his body and it’s warning signs because he was preoccupied in trying to grow his sixth auto body shop and provide for our family.”
WF: If you had the chance to start your career over again, what would you do differently?
AE: This is a good question – nothing because mistakes create knowledge through experience, something a text book can’t give.
WF: What have been some of your failures, and what have you learned from them?
AE: I like to call them experiences not failures – so far every day at my clinic is a new learning experience – can’t say I have had any failures.
WF: How has being an entrepreneur affected your family life?
AE: Only made it stronger, being a entrepreneur releasing so much room for creativity and experience to talk about and feel, and definitely hand down to my own kiddies.
WF: How do you generate new ideas?
AE: I wake up in the morning and they just come to me. Just ask my husband.
WF: What is your greatest fear, and how do you manage fear?
AE: Fear doesn’t cross my mind, because I never take a leap without a few backup plans.
WF: How do you define success?
AE: by the compliments I receive from my clients – the words “I feel so much better!!” is all I need to hear.
WF: If you could talk to one person from history, who would it be and why?
AE: I would talk to my Father – who he himself was a successful entrepreneur who opened six auto body shops, all successful, and retired at the age of 45. I think he had a lot more to teach me, and at 32 I am realizing this more and more.
WF: What would you say are the five key elements for starting and running a successful business?
AE: Vision, commitment, emotional strength, employees with the same vision and feeling and service.
WF: What has been your most successful form of marketing?
WF: What makes you happy?
AE: Making my clients feel better.
WF: What are your hobbies?
AE: Swimming, outdoor activities and karate.
“I have always been a believer in preventative health care and that your body will always warn you when something is wrong and that it is up to us to listen, so hence grew my passion for preventative health care. I am a firm believer that the body is a remarkable creature when given the right tools to heal itself! So after the passing of my father I was determined to make the population more aware of their health. I created a clinic that is dedicated to healing the body. Formaly known as the Reflexology Clinic in 2010, we are now The Reflexology and Wellness Clinic Ltd.” -Antoinette Erodotou
